At my clinic, silicone gel implants cost about $1,000 more than saline implants cost . The increase is set by the manufacturers and is due, among other factors, to the fact that silicone is simply more expensive to make. I advise my patients to decide on a breast implant based upon their desired outcome and not this price difference. I am interested in getting breast augmentation and I would like to get some info on the costs for the surgery.
Can you please provide me with the prices for Breast Augmentation? I would like to do a saline or silicone implant, aprox 450cc and I am interested in having the incision done in my armpit. I would prefer the implant over the muscle as I have kids and breastfed, so I believe going over the muscle would eliminate the need for a breast lift. I am about 5.5 feet, slim build 120ibs, my size before my children was a 34B but I never filled out the bra… I didn’t breast feed very long so the breast don’t sag that much but the tissue is basically gone..you can just feel the muscle. I am looking to be a full C cup. Of course with consultation we would determine what would work best for me but I would like a price based on the info I have provided.
Also for post op, what are the antibiotics are prescribed to avoid infection if any?

My 78 year old mother’s right breast has deflated. I believe they are saline. This was done over 40yrs ago when we first came to canada from england. The hospital said the removal of both (because if one reptured the other most likely would too) is covered under OHIP. But new implants if cosmetic we would have to pay. What is the risks factors involved for a 78year old lady to have breasts put in. She is currently on blood pressure pills also.

As per surgery for your mom we will have to go over all her medical history and she will have to see Dr. Weinberg and he will determine whether she is healthy enough to have surgery he will determine this after discussing medical history and some Blood work and ECG is done.
