Breast Reduction

Print This Page

For many women, large breasts are a source of back, neck, and shoulder pain. A breast reduction in Mississauga and Toronto can help with these problems, and may also provide considerable cosmetic benefits. Breast reduction surgery involves the removal of breast tissue to reduce the size. Because large breasts often sag with age or after breastfeeding, breast reduction will often restore a more youthful shape and create a higher location of the breast on the chest wall.

Depending on the amount of tissue to be removed, Dr. Weinberg might also reposition the nipple, make the nipple smaller, and perform liposuction in Toronto or Mississauga to achieve the optimal breast shape. He has extensive experience with this procedure. In fact, he was even invited to demonstrate his skill in breast reduction surgery on the popular television series "Skin Deep."
