Dr. Schiffer celebrated a birthday this fall! Wishing her a big Happy Birthday from all our staff! Dr. Weinberg was invited to tour the Allergan plant in Westport Ireland and to attend a “meeting of the minds” at a prestigious advisory board gathering while there. He’s also begun another academic year of teaching with the new cohort of Plastic Surgery residents at the University of Toronto. Dr. Schiffer attended the University of Toronto Neurology Update, and particularly enjoyed the sessions on Migraine treatment. As discussed at the meeting, the protocol for treatment of a migraine with Botox has undergone some tweaks, and is now more in keeping with method Dr. Schiffer has been using all along!
If you haven’t visited us on facebook in a while, you don’t know what you’re missing! Our staff cheered on the Bluejays with an inspirational video, and put on a “ pink Day” at the clinic in honour of breast cancer awareness, complete with yummy pink cupcakes for our patients! Thanks so much to all of you who bought our very own hand made Pink bow pins. All the proceeds were donated to the Breast Cancer Society. We’ve also been featured again by the lovely vlogger Stacey Brennan, and received a prominent mention by another fabulous blogger, BeautyPHD!
