Case 23

With Gynecomastia Toronto Man Felt Reluctant to Take His Shirt Off.

This 25 year old man suffered from Gynecomastia. Mississauga Chief of Plastic surgery Dr. Weinberg says this is one of the commonest reasons men come to see him. As with many other men, this patient first noticed the excess breast tissue developed when he went through puberty. From then on he never went bare chested, which could be quite awkward in the summer months during beach season. He underwent Gynecomastia surgery, or male breast reduction, at the Mississauga Cosmetic Surgery Clinic. A small incision was made in the perareolar area (i.e. around the nipple) for direct excision of tissue, and another small incision was made in the axilla (armpit) for the introduction of a liposuction canula and the remaining excess was removed via liposuction. He was back at work in a week, and the results will be permanent.

Keep in mind that each patient is unique and your results may vary.
