Non-Surgical Face Lift 

Many patients who come to us have started to notice some age related changes in their face in a particular area, for example around the mouth in the area of the nasolabial folds, or under the eyes, and localized use of injectable filler in that discrete region can address their concern. However, others have begun to notice more global signs of aging, with loss of volume in the cheeks as well as under the eyes and around the mouth, with the beginning of some lax skin in the jaw and early signs of developing  jowels. These patients may be wondering about a face lift but are not quite ready for a surgery. These are the ideal candidates for the mini–lift, or non–surgical face lift. 

This treatment involves extensive use of both Botox injections and Hyaluronic Acid Fillers; Juvederm, Restylane and/or Perlane, in significant quantities, to restore a fuller, younger appearance. Dr. Weinberg uses  sculpting techniques with large amounts of filler to essentially reshape the face. He is proud to be one of only a few centre in the province offering the increasingly well known procedure  "Soft Lift", as well as his very own " Allure Lift"  technique. The results are often nothing short of astounding. Patients can’t believe how quickly and dramatically the clock is turned back.

 The benefits relative to conventional surgical face lift are that there are no incisions to heal, with no downtime, and virtually no significant recovery period. The only side effects typically are minor bruising and swelling that resolves over a few days to a couple of weeks. The procedure takes 30 minutes to an hour and you will see instantaneous results, looking years younger almost immediately, and younger and more refreshed still within a couple of weeks as the full effect of the Botox becomes apparent. The disadvantages are that the results are temporary, the effects of Botox lasting 3 to 4 months, and those of hyaluronic acid 6 months to a year, thus requiring repeat treatment at regular intervals to maintain the results.
