Dr. Weinberg is a renowned Royal College certified Plastic Surgeon, and has been in practice since 1996. Royal College certification means a physician has undergone recognized formal training for many years in his particular area of subspeciality, and has passed standardized examinations set by the governing body for that area of medicine in Canada. He is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Trillium Health Centre, one of the largest Hospitals in Ontario, with branches in Etobicoke and Mississauga. He is  the founder of the Mississauga Cosmetic Surgery and Laser Clinic, a preeminant, CAAASF accredited surgical facility, and also sees surgical patients at his prestigious downtown Toronto office near Yorkville.

Dr. Weinberg earned an honours Bachelor of Science, and a Masters in Medical Biophysics at the Princess Margaret Hospital before obtaining his medical degree in 1990  and completing his Plastic Surgery Residency, both at the University of Toronto. He has been granted numerous prestigious awards and Scholarships. He is a member of the Canadian Society of Plastic Surgery, the Canadian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Ontario Society of Plastic Surgery, and is former President of that Society. He is also past president of the medical staff association at Trillium Health Centre, and previously sat on the Trillium Health Centre Board.  In addition to being widely published internationally with articles on research, basic science and clinical theory, he participates in numerous conferences and symposiums yearly, keeping current on all the most up to date cosmetic advances.

Dr. Weinberg has had the benefit of exchanging ideas with some of the most internationally renowned figures in Plastic Surgery, and his training, innovation and experience over the last many years have allowed him to perfect his surgical technique such that today he is among the most respected Plastic Surgeons in Ontario. Achieving outstanding results in Breast surgery, Tummy Tuck, Liposuction, Face lifts, Brow Lifts, Otoplasty and Blepharoplasty, he was invited to demonstrate his surgical skill in several episodes of the popular Television series Skin Deep. He is also endorsed by Allergen, the makers of Botox Cosmetic and Juvederm, as an expert injector, and has represented Q Med, the makers of Restylane as a training injector at international meetings.

With his extensive experience in Cosmetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Weinberg’s expertise is  sought not only by patients but also by colleagues, many of whom have trusted their family members to his care. Fluent in English, French and Dutch, his opinions are routinely solicited by the media, and he has been interviewed and quoted on numerous issues of interest in the field of Cosmetic Surgery in the Globe and Mail, and the Star, with appearances on CBC, Global Television, and CTV.

Dedicated and caring , Dr. Weinberg is devoted to helping his patients reach their goals. He lives in Toronto with his wife and three daughters, and is an avid Fly fisherman, with a keen interest in Canadian art. Together with a close family member, Dr. Weinberg has founded and runs a charitable organization which helps fund and support The Howard Hospital, a small salvation Army Hospital in Zimbabwe, Africa.
