Mississauga Cometic Surgery and Laser Clinic is a prestigious medical institution founded by Dr. Michael Weinberg, board certified plastic surgeon, in 1997, in an effort to provide his patients the best and latest techniques in cosmetic surgical and non-surgical options, in the most pleasant and safest environment possible. Since it’s inception, the clinic has drawn praise from medical personnel and patients alike, for it’s multidisciplinary, patient oriented approach to cosmetic treatment, and it’s focus on the individual needs of each patient. With the success of Mississauga Cosmetic Clinic, Dr. Weinberg opened a second surgical office conveniently located for his downtown Toronto patients at 66 Avenue Road, steps from Yorkville. Dr. Weinberg’s Toronto patients benefit from the same philosophy of caring and individual attention that guide all of Dr. Weinberg’s endeavors.

Mississauga Clinic

The Mississauga Cosmetic Surgery and Laser clinic is a fully accredited  free standing Surgical facility, meeting all the standards of the CAAASF, the Canadian Association for Accreditation of Aesthetic Surgical Facilities, which means it has been formally assessed, inspected, and found to meet similar safety requirements as Hospital operating rooms. Beautifully renovated in 2006, it boasts a state of the art Operating Suite, with the latest surgical and laser equipment by Cynosure, all in a spa like atmosphere aimed to make your experience soothing and enjoyable, as well as private. Procedures are done both under local and general anesthesia  at the clinic, and patients recover in our airy and sun filled recovery room, closely monitored by our anesthetists and nurses. As in all areas, Mississauga Cosmetic Clinic is on the forefront of advances in pain management, and patients undergoing major procedures have the benefit of the Pain Pump, a small hand held device that delivers pain medication directly to the surgical site, making the post operative period comfortable and easy.

Mississauga Cosmetic Surgery clinic is located directly across the road from Trillium Health Centre (formerly called Mississauga Hospital), where Dr. Weinberg is Chief of Plastic Surgery. Patients can opt to have their procedure in Hospital if they prefer, or if they suffer from health issues that would necessitate a hospital stay. The clinic offers the full gamut of cosmetic surgeries, including Breast Augmentation, Tummy Tuck, Liposuction, and Face Lift,  all procedures  in which Dr. Weinberg has tremendous expertise, and for which he has been widely recognized. Mississauga Cosmetic Clinic is also a pioneer in Canada, introducing the Mommy Makeover, a new combination surgical procedure.  He was invited to demonstrate his well known abilities on several episodes of the acclaimed television show Skin Deep.

The clinic also offers a full range of non-surgical options, including Botox Cosmetic for a variety of indications including lines and wrinkles as well as migraine headache. It is also recognized by Allergan, the makers of Botox, as an endorsed Sweat Management Clinic, and we participate in the Botox Access Programme for Hyperhydrosis. Dermal fillers, Photofacials, and Laser Hair removal are just some of the other options available. Our dual platform Apogee Elite Laser by Cynosure allows for Hair removal in individuals of all skin types, and has a cooling tip for added patient safety.

The field of cosmetic medicine is constantly evolving, with new treatments available all the time. Dr. Weinberg stays up to the minute, participating in conferences and meetings, always incorporating new and exciting advances into the clinics offerings. Dr. Weinberg was recognized as an official training injector for Q Med cosmetics, the makers of Restylane, and travelled to Europe to teach new techniques to physicians there. Examples of new treatments lately introduced at the clinic include the mini lift, a non-surgical face lift, and new techniques to treat the jawline and hands with Juvederm.
The clinic also retails high quality skin care products, many dispensed only in physicians offices, and pharmaceutical grade cosmetics.

Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, and Saturdays 9:00am to 3:00pm. For the convenience of our patients we operate a drop in Botox clinic on Saturdays.

Our Staff

Dr. Weinberg has assembled, and closely supervises a team of exceptionally well trained, knowledgeable and caring individuals to assist you in reaching your personal cosmetic goals. All general anesthesia at the clinic is administered by our board certified anesthetists, who are also on staff at Trillium Health Centre. If you have significant health issues, our anesthetist may assess you prior to surgery.  Dr. Weinberg is assisted in surgery by our registered nurses, who are also on staff at Trillium, and who have years of operating room experience. Our nurses also have special training and extra qualifications in cosmetic procedures, including laser training. We are also fortunate to have a neurologist on staff at the Clinic, with training and expertise in treating such conditions as migraine, hemifacial spasm and blepharospasm with Botox. Our aesthetician also has qualifications in the use of medical strength lasers, as well as bringing with her a wealth of knowledge on skin care and cosmetics, and lots of experience in microdermabrasion and physician grade chemical peels. And finally, we are blessed with particularly kind and considerate support staff, who work tirelessly to make sure your time with us exceeds your expectations.

The Downtown Toronto Office

Fortunately for Dr. Weinberg’s Toronto cosmetic surgery  patients, his second location is conveniently located downtown, steps from Yorkville. Like his Mississauga Clinic, it is beautifully appointed, providing a private and tranquil oasis where you can have an in depth consultation, during which Dr. Weinberg will explain the nature of your surgery in detail, ensuring that all your questions are answered to your complete satisfaction. After the initial consultation, Toronto patients have the option of having their surgery performed downtown, but many choose to make the trip to the  Mississauga facility, enjoying the privacy it provides, and enjoying some cost savings. The clinic has a standing arrangement with a gracious and discrete limousine service, and is happy to arrange transportation from anywhere in the GTA as part of the service we provide. Patients at the Yorkville location also have access to some additional non-surgical services including the Pixel Laser and Thermage.
